One of the mightiest Japanese Sportscars ever built – the 3.6L, V8 twin turbo GT-One.
Car #29 was one of three GT-One’s entered into the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans by Toyota Motorsport, it was driven by Thierry Boutsen, Ralf Kelleners and Geoff Lees. Sadly, the car suffered the misfortune of having a transmission failure whilst leading the race at 12:50am. It reached a top speed of 322km/h, after qualifying 7th.
The GT-One raced again at Le Mans in 1999, before being retired to the history books – and video games!
