Few genuine 24 Hour Races are still held today. This is the only one that remains unchanged.
Sportscar races have been a part of the Daytona International Speedway calender since 1961, and in 1968 the legendary 24 Hours of Daytona was born. More than 45 years later it’s still kicking, with the essence of what made the event such a hit.
The 2014 24 Hours of Daytona is set to be held November 12-16, it’s a classic 24 hour race dedicated to cars that have raced in Daytona endurance events of the past. It’s a full tilt, high speed track with true Sportscar monsters thundering through the night as the jostle for position atop the banks of Daytona.
Significant Sportscars from between 1961-2010 are welcome to enter. For frequently asked questions regarding the 24 Hours of Daytona click here. To learn more about the upcoming event, check out the Classic Daytona 24 Hour website.
