How to overtake Ayrton Senna – an eleven second demonstration by none other than Nelson Piquet.
Let’s take a quick look back to the 1986 Hungarian Grand Prix, and the daring overtake by Nelson Piquet which won him him the race. It may not have been what many could consider a clean pass, however it certainly was spectacular. Piquet shoots past Senna down the main straight with a rooster-tail of dirt flying out the back of his Williams as he searches for that last inch of sealed surface, before diving around the outside and ending up completely sideways. This is Nelson Piquet demonstrating how to overtake Ayrton Senna. What an awesome moment.
