A pair of noisy, smokey, smelly old two-stroke motorcylces. But there’s something very special about these two.
This cool video showcases the bikes of Barry Sheene and Kenny Roberts being fired up and blasted around Silverstone. The Barry Sheene machine is of course, the square-four 1975 Suzuki RG500 XR14, the same model on which he won his first ever Grand Prix, as well as the 1976, and 1977 World Championships.

The Roberts bike is the iconic 4 cylinder Yamaha YZR500 OW48R from 1980, in that unmistakable yellow. Each of the bikes are noisy, rough, and probably incredibly difficult to ride – and that makes them even cooler.
