Petter Solberg demonstrates how best to tackle hairpin turns on a sharp incline.
The event was the 2002 Rally Deutschland, the first year in which the rally would be counted as part of the WRC. 2009 aside, it’s been a part of the calendar ever since – and what a stunning backdrop it provides! Unfortunately for Solberg he’d be forced to retire from this rally, however would go on to place second overall in the season.
The 2002 Rally Deutschland was won by Sebastien Loeb.
