I do quite a lot of day-to-day driving in a 1948 MG TC. It’s a brilliant little car, and perfectly capable of handling Sydney’s traffic. Except that if I stay out too late and Mr. Sun dips behind the horizon, I’m left to rely on its “lights” to see things and have others see me, and then things get a little hairy.
Which is how I know that everyone involved in the Freddie March Trophy at the 2013 Goodwood Revival was completely bonkers.
Held over two hours through twilight, rain and the dark of night, the Freddie March Trophy saw a priceless collection of classics from Ferrari, Jaguar, Lister, Bristol, Maserati and Cooper duking it out for honours.
It actually looks like a whole lot of fun, and a brilliant atmosphere.
